Welcome to HUNTER Sportfishing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the home of year round world class sportfishing.  Construction of the new HUNTER was completed by Paul Mann Custom Boats in September of 2005.  She is 65 feet and powered by C32 CAT's.  With each engine rated at 1,650 HP the HUNTER has a cruising speed of 33 to 37 knots.  Loaded with all of the latest electronics, she is ready to travel!

Perhaps no one gets around like Capt. Walt, bouncing around from Hatteras to Pirates Cove to Mexico!

Hatteras: In April and May of each year The Hunter fishes Hatteras out of Oden's Dock. Lots of Blue and White Marlin and Sailfish along with big Mahi Mahi (Dolphin), Yellowfin and Wahoo are hopefully on the menu.

Pirates Cove: From June to December, The Hunter operates out of Pirates Cove marina in Manteo, for some of the best White Marlin action in the world.

Mexico: In late January the Hunter travels to Mexico to "winter" with some of the best Sailfishing in the world until mid-March and a return to Hatteras.
